RESTRICTIONS on a quarantine centre in Chingford where kennel workers were bitten by a rabid puppy have now been lifted. Charity worker Kim Cooling, kennel worker Sarah Page, and another employee were nipped by a mongrel Millie at Chingford Quarantine Kennels in Chingford Mount Road.
Restrictions on a quarantine centre where a puppy was found to have rabies are to be lifted, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs said.
Following a joint investigation with the Health Protection Agency, (HPA) into the rabies biting incident two weeks ago, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, (Defra) has now lifted restrictions on the specialist quarantine facility Chingford Quarantine Kennels where the incident took place..
