LEYTON: Dead dog sparks fighting ring fear (Wanstead and Woodford Guardian)
AN EMACIATED dog has been found dumped in a pile of rubbish, prompting fresh fears that an illegal dog-fighting ring is operating in Waltham Forest. The bull terrier was discovered in Dunedin Road, Leyton, on Friday evening and was so weak it could not stand.
